Today we will talk with you about the company OctaFX, one of the oldest players in the market.

OctaFX is an online currency trading brokerage that uses up-to-date technology and knowledge to improve the forex trading experience.  Founded in 2011, OctaFX had the goal to set a superior standard of service and maintain it to the highest level, while constantly developing new services and promotions. OctaFX has grown into a leading online broker with more than 10 M+ forex trading accounts opened and international awards, offering Contracts to clients in more than 150 countries around the world.

The company devotes time to its Linkedin profile, where it publishes various content. At the very top you are greeted by a video from the OctaFX team. Videos about the company's achievements in new regions, prestigious awards, and volunteer activities of the company are published once a month, which is quite common for video content. The content on the OctaFX page is more placed for the sale of the company as a service provider, and not as an employer, this is a secondary LinkedIn function.

Nevertheless, the company publishes content very often, it is interesting to read posts, as well as to follow the company's success in the international market.

The company does not publish its vacancies on Linkedin, which confirms our assumption that Linkedin OctaFX is used exclusively for marketing purposes of its services.

However, the number of people working (according to Linkedin) in the company is growing very fast. This may mean that the company is in an active stage of development, opening new branches in new markets.

It is worth noting that at the time of writing this article on the Glassdoor website, 1 review about the company has a 1-rating, and 3 reviews about the company have a 3-rating. The largest number of low ratings were written in 2018-2021 and had mixed reviews. The majority of reviews (more than 50 percent) confirm the willingness of employees to recommend OctaFX to friends.

Let's look at a couple of reviews about the company.

OctaFX encourages self-development and provides training opportunities for further growth in the chosen field. The company maintains a corporate culture, various tasks, flexible working hours, and the possibility to work remotely.

This negative review indicates a lack of transparency in the company. To be honest, such a disadvantage is present in almost all developing companies, as many managers prioritize the speed of execution of work over transparency among colleagues.

If we summarize the reviews about Glassdoor, then the main advantage of the company lies in its corporate culture.

Almost every review talks about the possibility of self-development and self-realization, which, with the right transformation, can be realized by increasing both the salary and the cost on the market.

I would also like to note that there have been practically no negative reviews about Glassdoor recently, which may indicate positive changes within the company.

Where to look for company vacancies?

To be honest, we don't know. There are no vacancies either on Linkedin or on the website in any of the sections. But this is a great example to tell you how to act in such situations. So, the action plan:

1. Write to the company's employees on Linkedin who are engaged in recruiting.

2. Write to any employee of the company on Linkedin about open vacancies.

3. Look for open vacancies on local job placement sites.
